A Little About Me:
I’m Alice Bloomfield, the host of Cozy Little Convos. I am a mom of two girls living in Phoenix, Arizona. I became a certified sleep consultant after my first daughter was born and have a genuine passion for providing parents with support and guidance in the realm of baby sleep. My story is rooted in my own experiences and struggles, which I openly share in the episode to connect with my audience on a relatable level.
A Challenging Introduction to Parenthood:
This episode delves into my journey as a first-time mum to my daughter, Lily, which happened to occur during the onset of the COVID pandemic. Emotions ran high as I grappled with the stress and challenges of having a newborn, along with Lily's diagnosis of silent reflux. Feeling the weight of my daughter's constant discomfort and sleep issues, I was on a mission to understand and improve baby sleep patterns. I became dedicated to studying baby sleep techniques, enrolling in sleep classes, and relentlessly seeking knowledge. I want to inspire parents who are confronted with similar challenges to seek support and knowledge, and reassure you that you are not alone in this journey.
Finding Light:
Implementing what I learned, I began to see improvements in Lily's sleep patterns, fostering a more positive environment for both her and my husband and I. The transformation and profound impact of improved sleep was exactly what my family needed for our overall well-being. I want to serve as a ray of hope for parents facing their own sleep-related struggles, and help provide the potential for improvement in your baby’s sleep.
A Reassuring New Beginning:
With the arrival of our second daughter, Isobel, my experience as a more informed and experienced parent led to a better-equipped approach to navigating the challenges of baby sleep. The growth I experienced in my journey as a mother and sleep consultant has allowed me to help provide the resilience and adaptability that many parents need as they navigate the complexities of raising children.
